the way i see it, israel is just as--if not more--"savage" than hamas... the only motivation for applying that term to one side and not the other is racist, i.e. prejudice against Palestinians.

oh and please dont invoke gay rights to legitimate islamophobic arguments. its offensive to me that someone would think my sexual orientation would lead me to adopt racist attitudes.

Btw; as a suggestion; if you are fragile enough to be offended by my making reference to homosexuals being persecuted by Hamas; maybe this thread isn't the right place for you to be posting on.

And as a side note; if you begin your post by accusing the other side of being racist; you are going to get a response that is going to offend your fragile sensibilities.

As a side note; seeing as we are friends; it is equally destructive to inter-personal relationships to accuse a friend of racism. Especially when you have very little evidence of the fact; other then a difference in politics.

We have spoken many times on in the kdice chat; but beyond that; you know very little about me. Surely you would require more evidence in order to pass judgment on someone.

I think what you said in this thread is racist against palestinians.... I didn't say you are a racist person in general.

Also, I'm not too "fragile." I'm simply reacting against what I see as a racist distinction between ostensibly "civilized" Israelis and "savage" Palestinians. Homophobia too me is just as disgusting as any form of hatred, including prejudice against Palestinians, Jews or any other groups.
