friendly; want definition

Lately, I have noticed that the "friendly" games are happening again. I'm tired of seeing these. To me, I do NOT mind playing with friends but when the game starts the gloves should be off. I want some people to respond and give me their definition of that word "friendly"(and no sports terms). Sorry, just lately thats all I've seen around.
