Why the evolution of two sexes?
I know that it's arguably beneficial to have two sexes. But I still don't understand how/why sexual reproduction came about and why two sexes instead of three sexes or four |

When a species is dependent on two beings for reproduction, two major advantages present themselves: 1) Biodiversity in lieu of evolutionary traits. 2) Social dependency which naturally increases any species to mass is number. On a similar note, (talking about social dependency) One interesting fact is that 150 is a magic number in tribes. 150 in the sweet spot for survival. Tribes that exceed 150 peeps have social breakdown & rebellion. Question 2 answer: With the exceptions of hermaphadites and transgender peeps, the biological sex of most humans falls into two categories as we know. However, the psychological and physiological sexuality of humans is almost infinite. If you want slap some peeps into categories you could say that we have at least 6 sexes. Hetero (X & Y) Homo (X & Y) Andro(X & Y). Travis you asshole. I know you know the answers to your question. You're just trolling for peeps who are sypathetic to your sexual preferences. BUSTED!! |
