at 7:22 PM, Wednesday March 9, 2011 EST honestly, ffx-2 was better than ffx in my book. It had an awesome job system, a storyline that wasn't so blatantly symbolic (lets go kill Sin that the govt and religion support)
The only bad part about it was that i had to play it when no one else was around. |

at 7:57 AM, Thursday March 10, 2011 EST total agreement. had to play it while no one else was watching too closely (thank god for gamefaqs walkthroughs which warn you when semi-erotic scenes are coming so that you can make sure your wife is nowhere around.)
and i tried to play it twice, and got bored too and quit both times. made it decently far the second time i think. only other ff game i got bored and quit on was ff9. i tried to play through it a second time a couple years ago, and was extremely close to quitting again because of boredom. but i forced my way through the malaise, and got rewarded with the best ff song ever, 'youre not alone', by the legendary uematsu. but overall i thought 9 had a meh plotline. |
