at 4:51 AM, Sunday February 20, 2011 EST jurg there is no need to transfer accounts, thus there is no need to allow it. for all i know the pw could still be the same and two or more people have access to the account. so i banned it.

at 5:25 AM, Sunday February 20, 2011 EST this is obviously lame revenge for my banning you 3 years ago. get over it.
why ban something that another mod gives permission and we spend money on. i was playing 500s by myslef at 6 in the morning when you banned it. get a life shev. |

at 5:55 AM, Sunday February 20, 2011 EST as usual though, i get burned for trying to do it the right way. If i had someone give me a random account and never talked to the mods about it, shev would have never noticed and i could have just played.

at 6:10 AM, Sunday February 20, 2011 EST Sharing is sharing is sharing is sharing is sharing. What is the purpose behing "giving" someone an account. You already have an account. Play that account. If you don't like that account, create your own new account. There is absolutely no need whatsoever regardless of your insignificant reasons to "give" someone an account.
Jurgz, don't create more work for yourself by allowing stupid things to occur that you'll have to spend time checking behind later. And THE NIGGLER was banned because I CAUGHT YOU DIPSHITS PASSING OUT THE PASSWORD RANDOMLY IN THE CHATBOX. He's serving his second year of a life sentence. Deal with it. |

I hadn't even finished and I would have liked a day to think the rules through Obviously I needed to double check this with other mods, I said I would allow it but if any other mod was not OK with bending the rule of no account sharing, I was going to undo it. I think you guys went ahead way too fast and that gave me huge second thoughts people buying boosts for other people never ended well in the past, I didn't think of that before an hour or so ago. I am not saying you ll do each other favors for sure but it sure doesn't look totally innocent if one player buys another boosts. So I am going to stick by Shevar's decision here, unless he changes his mind again too. We need clear rules wherever we can have them and no account or password sharing or account trading seems the be the easiest thing to keep black or white. I am sorry I said OK (under conditions) but I am not the one to make rules, I only decide to bend them or not. I now think I was wrong in allowing a bend (to do you 2 a favor). I am getting overflooded with KDice dilemma's and favor requests atm, I think I am going to take some time off or at least take it slower for a week or so to make sure I am not drowning in all of this time-consuming stuff. |

and again, I am going to take it slow here for a few days. Thinking through how I am going to deal with all these unfun aspects of being a mod in the future. |

at 4:40 PM, Sunday February 20, 2011 EST Rob, Shev, etc... GET A LIFE! I mean I'm not big on the whole password/account sharing, but like you guys need to look at it in context. First of all, even if two people share the same account, that's not even that big of a deal IMO. The only possible advantage that can arise from that kind of situation is that the two (or more) players could conceivably have more time between them to put into playing, thus resulting in more points. But like Jurgen looked at this particular situation realistically, and made a reasonable decision. Clearly Fiero doesn't play anymore, and from the limited chatlog it seems he was just boosting for someone else? What harm is done with someone buying someone else a boost? I mean seriously guys, grow up, and stop taking this game so damn seriously. And yes, I am aware that I am younger than y'all. And no, I am not condoning the sharing of accounts, but I do agree with Jurgen's actions here, and I don't think you guys should be undermining each other (i.e. Shevar going completely against what Jurgen said). If he wants to make his job harder, so be it.
