is like a millionaire playing a 1$ blind poker cash game. It's unfair, it's a waste of time, it's unreasonable.

at 5:56 AM, Thursday January 27, 2011 EST Yeah, but we're talking kdice. It's a different game. The analogy applies in the sense that big players take high risks, knowing that they don't have anything to lose. In the process screwing over the 100-499 crowd.

at 7:29 AM, Thursday January 27, 2011 EST this used to annoy me 2 but after seeing and hearing about the games on the 2k/5k i can see why..the games on the 100/500 are fair games most of the time besides 1or 2 * ruining it...but on the 2k/5k they arent they all know eachother on them tables so they silent truce(pga) or kill new players just cause they dont know them if the higher tables where fair then most of these guys with a few k points would be playing on them its bad for kdice but thats just the way kdice is cant see it changing anytime soon...

at 12:08 PM, Thursday January 27, 2011 EST kakku, stop your bs. You have no proof at all to confirm what you're saying, and I don't need any proof - anyone who doesn't believe me can go play 2ks/5ks and feel it up the ass.
Surely, if you don't suck, after some buttsechs you'll be offered PGAs by some players and your 2k/5k win rate will magically improve, but if you refuse those PGAs and go on your own, you won't survive without some incredible luck. Once again, anyone who doesn't believe me is welcome to try 2ks/5ks. Do what kakku says and make him a favour, join the high tables. When there are no "noobs" to take the last places, "pros" have to fight between their own alliances, which is much harder. |

at 12:22 PM, Thursday January 27, 2011 EST there is far far more cheating on lower tables than on upper tables, but people don't see it because there are 20835462 times more 0 tables played every month than 5ks. I don't play 2k/5k much myself, but that's mostly because i'm lazy, don't care about points, and barely play. However, I won my very first 2k, then took second in the next one. I won my first 5k.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SILENT TRUCE AND PGA ARE NOT THE SAME THING. How many different people play 0 tables every month? About 5000. How many different people play 5k every month? 100 maybe. How many people play 5k CONSISTENTLY at the end of the month? probably about 25. stop fucking whining about not being able to win at higher tables. maybe it's because you aren't as good at kdice as you think you are. play higher tables more often and get better at it. stop placing the blame on other people and take some goddamn responsibility yourself. |

at 12:32 PM, Thursday January 27, 2011 EST I've been playing kdice on and off for three years, and I've never been approached to be part of a PGA. It is a silly thing to be afraid of, because it just doesn't exist the way you imagine it to be. Silent truces are NOT pga. Frankly, it sounds like paranoia. You don't have any or not enough experience, yet you feel justified to formulate an opinion.
If those players that are too afraid to lose their virtual internet points at the bigger tables were to just sit in more often (or be forced to by lower table limits), the player amount at 2ks and 5ks would increase, and more diversity would exist. Plus, it would stop the unfair treatment of low-scoring players. |
