at 3:15 PM, Saturday January 8, 2011 EST i'm not a racist either i just use derogatory terms when i'm angry. racist implies that i think my race is superior or that others' are inferior to me. i have no such thoughts. i voted for a black man to be my President.

at 4:09 AM, Tuesday January 11, 2011 EST Note: there might be colored people and presidents outside the US. There is a chance of some of the other countries also give the oportunity to vote for non-white presidents. I like how people from one country seem to have this narrow perception of the planet.
BTW, if you think voting for a colored president is something remarkable, that does make you a racist to some degree. |

at 6:37 AM, Wednesday January 12, 2011 EST @wishbone: You are right. There is countries without presidents. Some old fashioned (or very modern, who knows) countries even have majesties. But I take any bet there is more than one country having a president. Even Germany has one, though we did not have a non-white candidate yet. Nelson Mandela was a colored president. So my point was that voting for a colored president is not really an achievement, mentioning it as such however turns it into the opposite.
@trendz: you are perfectly right I guess if you take the American definition of "racism" where any group having something in common is considered a race. Using a more biological approach, which is closer to my mother tongue, I wouldn't consider the American people a race (I often make mistakes here not understanding the American approach of what racism is). Nevertheless some prejudice about the general stupidity of the wide American public is present. I never claimed not to have these. However, this is not limited to America - I take the general public of about any country for rather stupid. The good part of making fun and mocking America is the instant reactions you get... |

Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism."
