ugh, now I wish I'd saved those people who didn't qualify for the ASR in another book in the spreadsheet so I could look stuff like this up... I know that Revilo was the first person to medal without playing ANY games, and Cloud9 and Bombardier DS 65 did it also.

OKAY after some digging: I only have access to games history easily, and I'm not about to go searching through the tourney history so this is what you get.
BatmanDan got 50th in April 08 with 29 games- which is extremely impressive since tournies didn't exist then and the average number of games that month was 372. (well, 360, after you take out Bomb's 1649)
Sam was 12th in December 2008 with 22 games and only ~8k tourney points. That was the first blue with <35 games. Moon got 14th in July 09 with no games but 48k points worth of tournies, and kakku man did it last month in 21st. The rest of the people deleted from the list (mostly Jesse) all played a shit ton of tournaments so they aren't impressive or notable really.
