Anyway, it is not like kdice will be shut down. They will just need to comply. Like my avatar, which is blocked now. It is a tiny coding change, to show sg else instead of my name, or give me the option to set a nickname.

I'm not sure but maybe some accounts have been deleted in the past upon request. It's just not possible for you to do it yourself. The developper of the game had a baby not too long ago and this game isn't his main activity so he isn't responding "fast" atm. You can contact him by mail directly (it used to be [email protected])

the only change I think will happen to this site if facebook takes the actions it can, is that it will no longer be possible to log in through facebook, and really most of the players here don't log on through facebook.

This is actually an interesting thread, and he does have a point.However, dont get his hopes up by giving him Ryans e-mail, greater chance of winning the lottery than getting a reply from that.

I actually think this thread is his best shot at it, if he manages to get the mods to bug ryan enough, but that being said. I think ryan added the possebility to log in from FB, because people might want to do that. I do not think he ever thought it would mean he would have to comply with the FB terms. and I think that he would rather not have the connection to facebook than to have to comply with the facebook terms. I think it would just be more work than he want to put into this site.

I do think the concern you raise is a legit concern, and I also realise the importance of fighting for privacy rights every single time.

BUT, I do not agree with your initial concern, and it is NOT against the kdice rules.

this is NOT harrasment, and not hate speach. hatespeach DO get banned, and harrasment also. incidently this is also a common way to define what speach is illegal and what is legal in many laws.

I am happy that there are very few limits of speach here on kdice, I know it is not that important, but this falls in the "freedom of speach" category.

I totally agree that totally untrue reviews are a problem sometimes but if we give the players the power to edit their own review page, you might as well abandon the review option
