I have today (10/11/10) experienced my first K Dice horse shit in 4 years. Over the last 2/3 days I have played a number of games with Melphis, no underhand cheating, no PGA and no accusations from other players. I have now been banned (RC'd) from playing any further games with Melphis for rest of month. I have been told by other experienced players that this will not reset at month end. This type of programming totally goes against the social aspect of the game. I understand that there is cheating that goes on amongst players but this should be reported by other players and not determined by an innacurate programme. I urge all players who have been RC'd unfairly to join in this forum discussion and players who have not also as if this can happen to players like myself and Melphis who play fair at all times it can / will surely happen to you too. I am a paying member and feel that my financial support along with all other members has allowed the site to develop to what it is today. This RC horseshit needs to change and it is people power that can and hpefully will change it. Ryan please listen to the people as it is only a minority that spoil it for the majority and this kind of programming defeats the object of the game.

Peac, love and K Dice happiness.... Phuze xxx

Commenting on Jurgens ID of IP-correlation. It is sort of worthless if you just use dial in. I doubt that most of the players here act with a fixed IP. And those that do are likely to have more than one computer at hand...

John, I know it won't solve much but it's just a suggestion to improve the RC querry. The current form doesnt catch all pgas and it never will catch them all with the additional IP checking either. I just think it will catch more of them. Sure, the people who know how to change their IP will never be caught in any if these tests but I am sure you can detect more this way.

And the problem you raise about multiple PCs (work/home) is not a real problem if you link both IP's to the account and check that that set of IP's is only used on that account and all of that players alts. Once there is a database on the server with the actual KDice users in it (knowing which set of IPs each user has + containing each account that is controlled by that set of IP's), you have a much more valuable database to test for RC and shared accounts and stuff.

I am not an IP expert so I might be expecting too much from this

Agree with phuze... RC's should be reviewed by mods for accuracy.

I agree this is totally unfair and in case such problems will not be solved quickly, will not get apropriate attention, I think people can doubt if it is reasonable to put this much of their lives in game, they might also feel that their passion and willingness of support falls down.
P. S. Excuse my Russian English please.
