fittingly enough, run monte carlo simulations of radiation passing through a patient and forming a 2D image on the other side of him. matlab is just for the comparison tool of measured vs expected images. the whole solaris interface is for running all the monte carlo code. but lets be honest, my professor wrote 95% of the code, im just the grunt who runs it overnight.
