If you flag to someone, does that mean you take a spot lower then them?

this has probably been discussed before, but i'm curious how everyone interprets this....and i don't know how to search for topics.

If you flag to someone, you are definitely required to flag out for a lower position. The flag is a truce/alliance/partnership with you agreeing to take a subservient role. So you have an obligation/self-interest to protect them/ensure your highest finish. I know that many do not adhere to this philosophy, so take it as you wish. It is just my take on what "should" happen in that situation. ps: Fiero, stop with the lame white-boy rap shit. You can't pull it off. |

at 12:11 AM, Wednesday January 6, 2010 EST as much as i agree with BR,i have to say that there is no rule about flagging, you can do whatever you like, and you'll probably get something in return if you are a regular...And never ever let people flag a position, that's my humble advice, make them flag "to you"

at 2:24 AM, Wednesday January 6, 2010 EST I flag out or lag dead below the person I flagged to. That is, if that person survives. I will not make any moves to defend the person - my difference between a flag and a truce.
There are situations, when it seems reasonable, to flag to let's say yellow, who then flags 3rd, to have a battle for 2nd/4th. But this is very depending. In general you should finish below IMHO. |
