Seriously, nobody gives a fuck how YOU think the game "should" be played.
Generally it's a whiney bitch who realizes they're going to finish 4th or worse because of an ingame situation, so they start preaching morality and the "right" way to play. Guess what fuckwads? This is a game about ATTACKING PEOPLE. Get used to being attacked. Get used to people joining forces in-game when it makes sense and spanking you because you were too slow to think up the idea first. Stop hating on people who were smarter and more strategically inclined YEARS AGO then you are now, after playing 5 years of kdice. And for chrissakes, enough with the PGA accusations. Yes, that's right. The skilled players completely PLANNED to have their territories right on top of another player in the game (it certainly couldn't be that it makes sense for two guys to team up and ensure they get 1/2 rather than butting heads and letting YOU take 1st instead) Waaaaah, people aren't giving me first place, it's PGA, it's not the "right" way to play. If the "right" way to play is giving YOU 1st..........I don't want to ever be right. I've played a whopping 80 games this month and my stats are: 1st: 31% 2nd: 25% 3rd: 16% That's because I'm just plain better at this game and the in-game strategies necessary to ensure a higher finish. You aren't even mad at me. You're mad at yourself because you suck @ this game. You're mad @ your lot in life, you feel you "deserve" good things to happen to you. You know, you're those lazy people that expect Obama to just hand them everything on a silver platter, you don't want to WORK for success. btw, please, PLEASE PGE me, I frigging LOVE it when you're out to grief me, because I am certainly here to ruin your gameplay experience. Not really interested in playing with a bunch of anti-social misfits who think everyone should just lay down and hand them the game, and if they don't then it's PGE for life, blah blah. It's a free game. I play for fun now, not for trophies. I get a LOT more enjoyment targetting a player who sits at my table that's in the top 25 and ruining his game, because he cares too damned much about points. I'm not even trying this month and I'm in the top hundo |

Even if it isn't preplanned, people become friendly at those limits because the faces they see are the same all the time, so you get a lot of backscratching taking place. And I just don't care to play the diplomacy game and try to maintain relationships with what amounts to mostly narcissistic misfits who care too much about a free game. I'd rather cut you or attack your flag and ruin your day |

at 2:02 PM, Wednesday December 16, 2009 EST im not saying i agree with it, and im not denying its presence. yes, there is definitely an amount of social networking involved at the top tables. i assume that this is the natural tendency of any online game where 7 people compete for placement in a series of games leading to monthly rankings.
i just think its a bit lame to bash what it is. dont hate the players, hate the game. literally. the way the game is designed and implemented, if anyone wants to seriously compete for monthly placement, they either have to 1) learn the ropes of social backscratching, or 2) pay for membership. lots of people really detest that this is how the system currently works, but the only person who implements code around here has deigned that this is how it will be. so we are stuck with the current system. social backscratching it is. and, tbh, the only way to remove that feature is to make the gameplaying aspect completely randomized and anonymized. and only like 5% of kdicers want that, because the social aspect of the game is a good thing. i dunno. just quit yer bitching. it makes you look too much like me. |

There are some folks that devote their fucking lives, month after month, year after year, to this GAME. So they make it easy for me to pleasure myself all over my keyboard when I ruin their game while they whine "but I flagged" Of course, they flagged right after: 1. They cut me up and failed to restack well to withstand the counterattack 2. Tried to encourage everyone else at the table to attack me God I love raping n00bs in this game, and nits too.
