Many aeons ago, before Dora Exploradora had graduated from dicewars to kdice, I posted a thread called "denizens of the kdice desert", in which I identifed at least four "species" of kdice players, identifiable by their profiles. To reiterate briefly, the four species are

1. the sphinx, having a profile with the highest percentage at first place, the next highest at second place, and so on.
2. the hyena, having the highest percentage at second place.
3. the dromedary, having more first and third places than second places, and
4. the horse, having high numbers for first and seventh place, not so high for second and sixth, etc., and lowest for fourth.

All of these species appear in the top 25, and likely occupy different "niches" in the kdice ecology. In a typical game, there are likely to be players of all species, who interact with each other as animals of different species interact around a watering hole on the African veldt.

So knowing how the different species behave and using that knowledge to your advantage is not something new. Likewise with knowing the traits of particular individuals. Nothing different here than chess or Go, except that in kdice you deal with six players at a time.

Welcome to kdice, Dora.

I thought girls were lying when they said I had a horse's cock. Stats don't lie.

ohhhhhh "older" button, now i get you.. haha just kidding actually i just thought u were referring me to a thread that had to do with these species of kdice player..the thread you sent me to was interesting, but:
1. i dont understand it its a bunch of random letters and numbers with players' names inside of it; and
2. it doesnt include me so who cares :PP

but yeah skrum ur like the best at statistics i wish you could help me with my research paper trying to make either a linear regression or a chi-square thing but im a poli sci major and have no idea wat to do..i basically have a dichotomous independent variable and multiple dependent variables to work with and dont know what statistical method to use

If you google on "skrumgaer dromedary" you will find more stuff (old Forum posts).

I find Wikipedia a good reference for anything mathematical.

Greek, change majors. Poli sci is a bullshit degree (I know because I have one).
