The funny thing is that European halthcare is on average less expensive (for public finance) while covering more people (everybody). That's a hard fact if you study the models around the world a bit, you will lose your convinction of US supremacy. :)

The problem with public healthcare (in Canada)is that the goverment sets the price of surgeries, procedures, and even yearly physicals. Therefore our best and brightest doctors go someplace else (usa) where they can make more money. We get to keep the doctors that just barely make it out of medical school.

The good news is the people that haven't worked a day in there life (we actually give them free money every month up here) they get to see the doctor for free to.

However most governments do provide health care to the people in charge...Which is good if you wanna keep the gov going.

I'm not anti gov just big on limiting it. The masses are wrong always.
