A comet? an alien invasion? polar shift? or nothing?. We seem to love the end of the world scenario. But what will happen in 2012.

I'm not gonna lie here, i don't think anything will happen in 2012 but people are getting there panties in a tangle becasue the Mayan calendar ends on that date. Maybe something could happen but the odds are slim. Like every end of the world scenario there will be people profiting from the fear of others through books and stuff like that. I have this a topic in my forum becasue its the new trend until the year passes.

at 2:38 PM, Wednesday November 18, 2009 EST Part of the reason y2k was as uneventful as it was was that businesses spent a good deal of money analyzing their code to detect and remove date-related errors. I did some of this work myself.
Not that more dire scenarios were ever realistic in my opinion, but things would have been worse had we not been both paranoid & prepared. |
