[[Roll offs.]] Unwritten rules?

So I have the understanding the circumstances of a roll off and its purpose, But I would like to know if their where any "unwritten rules" that are usually followed.
During a roll off for a place between two people, do they have to use an 8 stack to roll with? Could they both use 3 stacks, 5 stacks (etc)? But still roll on a land with different dice on it, than the other player? What Im trying to make clear is, Does the number of dice on a land effect the number by witch you will roll? I mean, Couldn't you attack a land with one dice on it with an 8 stack, and have attacked an 8 stack with that same roll? This could make roll offs a bit easier, And make it less complicated by having to wait until both players are up to an 8 stack. I'm not positive if this has already been discussed, But it has recently came to my attention. |

at 6:49 PM, Monday October 12, 2009 EDT Should be no problem, as long as you and your opponent have the same number of dice on the stack used for the roll-off. I doesn't matter how many dice there is on the attacked land. So if both of you have a stack of 5, you're good to go for roll-off.

srsly, here is what is better than rolloffs: 1) 1st decides based on who helped him gain 1st. if one of the culprits was nicer to him, then reward him with the higher placement. 2) if neither of the culprits did anything for 1st the entire game, and you are forced to flip a coin, then dont let the dice decide, let 1st decide based on who has the best answer to a specific question chosen by 1st. for example (if i were 1st)... i would ask, 'what cup size is the best cup size', and one person would say 'OMG DD OFC', then the other would say 'WTF DD SUCKS, DDDD IS BETTER x2". then i would kill the 2nd guy, because, personally i like B cups (its part of the asian fetish i guess). so, because the first guy, while way off that DD is attractive, is closer to MY reality than the 2nd guy. this is a totally unbiased way of determining who places higher, is more entertaining that watching random numbers appear on the screen, and also fun to see a window into people personalities. word on the street is that das is now a mod, and he will ban rolloffs too. godspeed dasfury. godspeed. |
