hey guys, i'm surely not the one complaining about every little insult, but that's really rude. situation: i was red, going for 2, and truced with purp ingame against kaneda_z. after i cut him with a island i had in his south, he flagged up on 3 and following happened:

As long as the log is not on the server and thus out of reach of the complaining person, it is just not worth the time posting it. As far as I remember there is o such log on the server. So just forget about chatbox as a reason for banning as long as you don't have a moderator witnessing the conversation.

Teal flagged to me and then I made an offer to Brown. kaneda said something to the effect of "Fine, we all flag, Yellow, now you can kill Brown." I thought this was sarcasm and hit him once when there was an opening. At the same time, I had cut Brown and rebuilt my interior to protect it. The territory of kaneda's was not a cut, just an outlying territory. He got mad and started ranting and so I then told him to put up a flag and I would respect it. A round later, he still hadn't flagged, so I attacked again and immediately the flag went up. I left him alone for 2 rounds but he continued to rant and rave in the chat. Finally, I had enough of his comments to me about how I was an idiot and a "Fucking moron", so I proceeded to attack kaneda until he was dead. Brown was the 2nd to die after kaneda. This is not the first time kaneda has thrown this kind of verbal assault at me. I saw the forum about this, so thought I would post my incident as well. Perhaps a full round was not enough time to put up the physical flag (he had held 2nd for several rounds, so that wasn't an issue) but it seems to me that these outrages are out of control. I can understand a few sentences, but he drags it out for a long time at the table. I don't know that a mute is in order, but it is ridiculous. |
