Nice analysis, Shev. I don't really have much to add to your assessment. Except for the fact that it would be actually very easy for me to win a month if I only had more time to spare for kdice, so that I could play more than 200 games and enough tournaments.
But you are right when you say that this is not very likely and that the CDU will never get your vote.

On another note, it is very easy to see why the FDP has been so successful lately. In my opinion, we must admit that Westerwelle has become a quite smart strategist during the last years (he would probably be able to win a month here, too ;-) ) and clearly promotes his low tax policy. People always like lower taxes (that's one of the reasons why the retard from Texas managed to win his two elections), but they fail to see who would really benefit from the FDP policy.
Anyway... I'm tempted to write a very long post here, but I better don't...

I think we can agree on hoping an outcome for the right end of the scene in that magnitude. I would love to see similar caution and alertness towards the left wing radicals though. But I guess Gysi is just too good a speaker.

Wenn ich mich nicht sehr irre ist Gregor Gysi (schreibe ich den so falsch?) in der Linken - und die halte ich auch für gefährlich und bedauerlich stark. Aber links blind und rechts paranoid sind wir ja schon lange - wobei ein wenig "Wehret den Anfängen" schon gut ist, auf beiden Seiten halt.

die Piraten sollen sich erstmal ne Parteistruktur die man _irgendwie_ anchvollziehen kann bis dahin sind sie für mich auf einem ernsthaftigkeitsniveau wie die Pauli-partei. Die Wichtigkeit von Bürgerfreiheitsrechten unbenommen. Aber da machen wir lieber den etablierten feuer unterm arsch bis diepiraten im parlament stark genug sind isses für die wichtigsten sachen wahrscheinlich zu spät. oder habt ihr nen staat gesehen der seine überwachungsinfrastruktur zurückgebaut hat?
