This caught on because kdice is filled with people that are spinless followers of fads and can't think for themselves most times. People dying for attention and acceptance from the community.

This was one of the more novel fads but kinda failed because people can't help but be who they are. Good players can never keep who they are secret when using an alt because so much of success in kdice comes from the social aspect and if you have no reputation it is hard to use the social aspect to your advantage.

I think the office and STFU PAT WHALEN were more humerous fads though.
