Its not elo I miss, its flags that were specificaly there for ending the game, not for showing how much of lame shitstain of a loser you were.

Yeah shit sucks now, and has for a long time. Monthly resets ruined some good things in kdice. Made it too hard for people that just wanted to hang out with friends and play a couple games stick around.

More new player friendly now though kinda.

Elo was flawed but nice. Seriously the flagging needs to go back to flag and surrender or elo style flagging. Both make fighting much more necessary which would make the game better.

It was great cause you would work hard to get to the top table and once you did, you were usually around the same people over and over again. lol

One of the reasons I returned was for a chance to see the old schoolers who I used to play with.

A lot of them are gone.

I'm still here, and still playing, though I'm not sure why.

I kinda miss elo too. the current flagging system definitely has changed the game.

Any system that can allow the "Special snowflake I don't have to pick who gets 5th" roll off method has GOT to have something wrong with it.

5er honestly, kdice was always about flagging, it's just that now more people have learned how to be point whores.

really the only difference between now and then is that the cabal was running the show and was made up of people that were at least somewhat cool outside of kdice.
