republicans watch soccer?

Dempsey is pretty good, got to love him! Soccer is picking up in Canada, people are actually crazy about Toronto FC. Hope it is also picking up in the US!

Spain played very well regardless, I was very excited watching the second half of the game. I think Spain just has way too many egotistical players on its team, like Sergio Ramos, Torres, and Villa.

spain will bounce back, for sure. US just willed and hustled a victory over a relaxed spain imo. good for the sport in the US, good for the players more so. international visability for them.

im looking forward to the finals, wouldnt mind brazil, for another chance to make this championship legit

bid deal. im very shocked/impressed by the U.S. win over Spain, but if they really want to impress me, lets see them win over Brazil.
Greece won the 04 Euro Cup with 1,000,000-1 odds, but they still suck. They also took 2nd in the FIBA championship with a win over U.S. a few years ago, but U.S. is still obviously better than Greece at basketball.

The only way that people in the US will remember this game is if the US beats Brazil. If we lose, well, the Shaq trade will become far more important again.
