After the player (let's call him M) made the racist remark, another player said (I think it was fierosmom) said to the effect of "you are saying that when a mod is here?" Then M restated his remark in a polite way and I interpreted that as his having backed down. Then M made his remark about my staying put. After that, for the rest of the game, I was embroiled in an argument with fierosmom about whether I was accountable for someone else's perceptions (The answer, by the way, is no. Jesus was perceived as a winebibber and blasphemer but he was without sin).

The racial slur is the not the issue. The issue is that Skrum allowed the person who used the slur to believe it was OK to attack others and not Skrum as payback for ignoring the racial slur.

I use to respect Skrum, now I don't. He doesn't understand ethics.
