at 4:06 AM, Sunday November 2, 2008 EST Thanks Ryan, it indeed has something to do with the local clock setup. First i tried switching between different time zones with no result. But when i switched the clock to manual setup (on Ubuntu, by default clock update via internet according to the time zone i choose), it started working and the box even shows the start of the tourny in my local time.
Thanks for the advice, i hope youll find a way how to fix the issue in future, but for now all i need is to keep my clock on manual, which causes me no trouble. So urgent bug alert off, at least in my case :-) |

at 10:25 AM, Sunday November 2, 2008 EST I think a lot of ISP's use GMT, especially if they service multiple time zones.

at 2:59 PM, Sunday November 2, 2008 EST I could give you a step by step guide how to fix it on Linux, but i guess that wont help you. So i can just repeat what Ryan said - try playing with your timezone settings - not sure where it is on windows, either in control panels or somewhere in clock setup.

at 3:27 PM, Sunday November 2, 2008 EST I think the "Join" button needs to disappear if the tournament is full. Also, is there a limited time window to join the tourney before it happens? I'm kinda disappointed I'm missing out on a 25 person free roll which starts a 5 PM (eastern time), when I try to join at 4:20 PM my time.
One more selfish complaint: out of the hundreds of players who come about daily on KDice, 25 people for a "mini" tournament is more of a "tiny" tourney, you know what I mean? If they're filling up quick, are you planning on expanding the amount of seats a little bit? |
