sooo Hiro and Ando that was pretty predictable but the real question is wtf is up with mr. petrelli. also what happen to peters ability to absorb powers. it seems like he just stopped doing it. or even now that his father has taken his powers, why not just absorb them right back. im confused with that shit. also nathan is a little bitch this season. annnnd i cant wait to meet the last of the triplets. oh and its really a great show. its fun to watch

That show was written by a 15 year old. I couldn't stand the blathering Indian doctor guy:

It would stand up well to a lot of shows from the 80s though. The 2000s have stuff on HBO that makes the network stuff look like 'My Pet Goat'.

Arthur took his powers to absorb as well. Arthurs power basically steals powers completely. So when he takes them the person no longer has them. This is why Adam died, because he was 400 years old, without his power his body couldn't cope. peter DOESN"T HAVE his power stealing ability anymore.

Oh that hurts Comik, but it's the kind of hurt that keeps us going. Fuels us in our darkest hour when the lights are off and there is no light. What will we do then? When we can't see where we are? We are likely to bump into things as we keep going. which we must.

cody, peters ability in the beginning was so much more powerful than it is now. in the beginning of the show he would have absorbed his fathers ability from a distance, the instance he walked in the room. His fathers ability on the other hand is weaker, he has to or it seems, touch the victim.But Now peters ability is shitty like when he took Gabriels ability a few episodes ago it takes him time and concentration. so my question is why has his ability weakened. why did he not absorb it right away. just as he entered the room with new abilities like he used too

It's just a guess, but I think part of it has to do with the complexity of the ability. Sylar's ability was so complex that without understanding he couldn't absorb it. To that end, he might have absorbed his father's ability, but that wouldn't stop him from having his own powers absorbed. His father clearly could touch him without absorbing his powers, so that means he had to activate his ability to drain the powers. If peter absorbed it, or if he was even able to, the chances are that he didn't think to use it on his father. The father he thought was dead until he walked into the room. His father's ability is not weaker than peters. It just has a limit and strength that are different. On one end we have sylar who can take peoples abilities but he kills them to do it. Then we have peter who can take peoples abilities without harming them at all. Then we have their father that can take peoples abilities and STRIP them of the abilities without physically harming them. It's possible that he might help saresh in the future.
