at 3:55 PM, Monday August 18, 2008 EDT I wonder if you could make a case that usually people attack more often than they defend. Since the win goes to the defender in a case of a tie, the winning percentage for attackers really isn't 50%.
Skrum, I'd have no idea how to test this theory, maybe look at an aggregate of 50 games for a random player each game to observe this trait. |

well if luck% takes into account the probability of winning that type of AvB roll, luck% should be quiet accurate and so it looks I am slightly less lucky than the other players...oh well I have survived many months with low luck so nvm. Maybe the difference from 50% might have something to do with the different approach of players towards uncommon rolls: not all players play all possible 3v8;4v8,... when suiciding out of a game; not all players go for risky 4v4 connects. 5v7 wins about 10% of the time. Players only doing that a few times a month will usually get 0 wins there and that wil lower their luck. Players trying that 20 times a month will probably win 2/20 and the effect on luck will be small since they won the expected amount of that type of roll. So if I understand correctly now, luck% only takes into account the attacks you make yourself? 3v2 wins 77,9% of the time. So if someone made an account and only rolled 3v2 rolls + counted their win/losses and got 779/1000 3v2 rolls, his/her luck% should be 50%? |
