Moondust you are doing the right thing. I have seen you talking to people, getting to know people and networking: Eventually these friendships will become a friendship network. These people will probably not give you a "7th" or "6th" in games they are playing you in. Not necessarily a pga but it makes all the difference in the world with your points at the end of the month. The "mob conspiracy" angle that Ryan talks about is overblown IMO. There are so few regular 2.5k players that blatant pga's are not tolerated and are punished. There are subtle pgas but those are much harder to prove. However, like Risk the game, diplomacy and chat manipulation are a huge part of 2.5k tables. Diplomacy and chat manipulation, I think are where the n00bs get punished. To them it feels like unfair ganging up (maybe it is) but it also part of what people need to know and learn to play on the 2.5k.
