Well still nothing has changed

I come back to see if anytthing had changed for the better. After playing a hundred games i see nothing has changed. The scoring system coupled with the flagging system has encouraged poor sportsmanship, defeatist attitude (ill flag early to get more points), and still a reward system only for those that play too many games.
After playing a hundred games and having 44% of my games in the top three places here was my score for the month 325◆ Now those that know me know that i am a decent player and at least better than average. That being said an average player would still have little incentive to continue to play when she or he is stuck playing the random lower levels and never learning the advanced, nuanced strategies that only happen at the 500 and above. I know the number of return players has dropped dramatically and I think this is the main problem. I once again would recommend to ryan that if he wants this game to thrive then he must adopt a scoring system that doesn't punish previous games accomplishments. there is no need for negative scores. give 7th 0 points, 6th 1/28th of the point pool, 5th 1/14th of the pool, 4th gets 3/28ths of the pool, 3rd gets 1/7th, 2nd gets 2/7ths, first gets the rest. Well whatever happens good luck to you all and i hope in the future you all figure this out. Aiden |
