I'm sick of the whining

I'm sick and tired of not being able to go a single game without someone accusing someone else of a PGA or arguing back and forth over whether a truce or a flag is more important, or someone cussing someone out because they "didn't respect their flag". I'm sick of sitting down at a table to play a game of kdice but having the chat filled the entire game with an argument over what should have happened the game before.

Why can't people just play the game, take whatever place they got, and then shut up about it????

Shock of all shocks, people seem to disagree on how to play the game. weird. imagine that people would have different strategies and ideals. but what everyone seems to be missing is the whole GAME part. Sure, competition is an important part of a game, but you know what else is???? Having fun!!!

I do, in fact, realize the irony of me whining about people whining, but honestly... im just annoyed by it all. This is my plea for people to enjoy kdice and realize that games will not always go as one would hope and that people don't always do what you want them to. GET OVER IT!

-sorry for the rant

Sometimes it hard to distinguish a 'network of sympathy' from a PGA.

I think the solution to this problem is for everyone to just get over it already.

Silent truces, table reading, pga, friends, sympathy, admiration, etc.

It all happens, it is common, it is part of the game.

Kdice is a social game. Those that choose to come on and be antisocial will not win, plain and simple.

Just log on, play, socialize and have fun. This formula to success is not to hard to duplicate.

I absolutely agree with desh. :)

I said something similar, but apparently it was too difficult to understand.

The reason why people are so keen on defending truces or team play or pgas or whatever you want to call it, is the fact that too many players are too bad to play the game on their own - from the start to the end.

The only way they can win points is to team up and ignore other players' flags.

Of course, if I relied on truces that much, I would also defend them. But I rather play on my own, having my own strategy and surrender to not waste my time.

(I hope that was simple enough to be understood?)

The only way to solve this problem is to make it so that 1st place has to take the whole map. Since that'll never happen, I suggest that you just mute the whiners. I mean, what the hell are they gonna do about it!?

I agree with deadcode completely.

That being said, the forum is NOT about PGAs or truces or anything else people can throw little fits about. Please reserve your complaints to some other place because here I would only like to point out that people need to shut the hell up and enjoy the game.

Anyone who agrees or disagrees with that main idea, by all means, please let me know. Anyone who wants to gripe about how people play the game, please do so elsewhere.
