I've been reading the forums since I got here about two weeks ago, and amongst the piles of dross there's some good posts about unfair play. I think the jargon is pga and RC.
Correct me if I'm wrong but what this all means is there's a pretty general agreement that its unfair to show positive bias in a game to a friend. But I've done it already, and it wasn't worked out pre game. Some geezer had an Arsenal badge like me, and some other player got me into conversation about soccer and Arsenal, and ,hey presto, I was showing them some positive bias in my game play. Is this unfair? Why is it unfair? In a social game like this one, how can social bias's not come into it? |

Random assignments don't make sense if you choose the table level. However, if you are allowed to choose *only* the maximum level you want, it is more likely that you will be assigned to a low level table. That will probably force you to get in touch with the unknown players, in lower (dirty) tables, where people can be more disrespectful ;) Wouldn't it be fun to see all these kdice theorists being crushed by disrespectful brats on a regular basis? Back to business. I imagine that there would be a queue for each level (say Q0, Q100, Q500, Q2500). If, for example, you choose maximum level 500, you would enter the queues Q0, Q100 and Q500. Whenever a queue has 7 players, a table is chosen at random and the game starts. Obviously, you would be taken out of the other queues. |
