this is the most bullshit invention to hit kdice since MSAK!

i am not allowed to play with jurgen after i won a 2500 game and he was 2nd...

3 days ago, jurgen knocked me below 2500...i was well pissed at him.

why are we blocked cos i play alot of games with him thru the day (GMT) and very few 2500 happen cos americans are sleeping during this time...

if possible ryan, i would like to ee the stats for our games played together cos we are far from cheating together!

Great, awes beat me to be the first to whine about our ban. So second again like in our last game together this month.

Well it's too bad we can't play together anymore because I really enjoyed the games with awes. And yes we are friends (or friendly or cool together) but in my opinion i was doing the same thing to awes i was doing to everybody: attack if in my way or weak, truce or avoid if too big or with mutual benefit.

The game that got us banned was a clear example of forced to truce: either we hit each other and we take 4th max, either we avoid and take 1/2. Well personally I prefer taking the ban and play with best possible strategy than kill each other and avoid the ban.

Awesomeness already pointed out one part of the irony of the ban: I indeed attacked him in a game so he fell below 2500. If you could have a replay of that game you could see i could have easily avoided the kill and even gotten him + points. But again he was my obvious target so why not attack. Even as friends, that should be the right move no?

Now I won't say I don't truce with awes since otherwise the ban wouldn't be there. But I can think of as many games where we screw each other over if the game develops like that. I should have saved the chat logs from awesomeness when i killed him sometimes because man, if there is one ranking where awesomeness! would definitely be 1st every month, its funny swearing. Lol, if I am bored in a game,I sometimes I even attack him so he will start swearing.

OK, to end the complaining, Ryan I will take the ban like a man, I accept the fact the detector sees more than my own eyes can see but the real pga's better be banned as well I hope.

I want to be clear on something.

I am 100% behind the IDEA of catching PGAs in the act.

However, there are certain measures that make it not worth it in my books.

For example, and this is an extreme case to illustrate my point, if Ryan wanted to make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that nobody ever PGAed again, he could just shut the kdice servers down for good.

Now, I wouldn't want that and I don't think anyone else really would either. However, it WOULD accomplish the goal of stopping PGA.

I will grant that this PGA detector is not that extreme. But it HAS come with a large opportunity cost for those of us who play at the top levels... that is, we can't get games going as often.

Sam, I don't buy into your argument that we should just shut up and let Ryan run his game. Ryan has shown to be receptive to suggestions made politely, and many good features in kdice are the result of player suggestion.

for once i can put forward an idea without getting personal attacks from the so-called "elite" players, kdice police, forum monitors, etc.

I might be wrong, but isnt the problem that so called elit players cant sit in a 10k game because:

1, they rape lower ranked and non-otf players at 2.5k so they dont even get to 10k

2, they rape lower ranked and non-otf players at 10k games and help eachother to gain more points witch has 2 effects:
(a)see above
(b)they cant sit with eachother bc of the RC detector

well kdicefreak, if you have good ideas, there is no need to criticise or attack them.

Everybody respects people with well written ideas. However, if you get attacked for other posts, it simply means some people don't agree with your own personal attacks.

May i just suggest dropping the attacks on the "ELite" . It's not elite, it's top25, top100 or whatever, it's people that get higher scores than you simply because they play more or play better than you.

There is nothing wrong in being slightly less good than others at kdice. There are pgas on every table level but it's not because top25 players pga or stick together that you don't make it there. This is not ment as an insult, it's just some advise to drop all the frustration and be happy with your own gameplay and enjoy the game.

So if you have good ideas , post them, that's what the idea section is for
