I can't see how the PGA detector is gonna work efficiently for the whole month

Yes, i know you said it isn's a PGA detector, but i couldnt think of anything else to call it...

Certain people play at certain parts of the day. This leads to people who play at the same time playing lots of games together, especially at the bigger tables where there is only one game going at a time. These points add up fast, and this is only going to cause a bigger problem as the month goes on...

The most annoying part of this is when there is only one 2.5k or 10k game going at a time, and you are not aloud to sit with one (or more) person(s), and you end up having to race them to sit down, or not sit at all.

Maybe a happy median would be to shorten the length of the ban, to a week or so, instead of the whole month, or make the point limit higher? -- because i feel like these bans are really gonna wrack up by the end of the month, and if two people happen to have a few good games together, they will trigger the ban and then they will have to work around it for the rest of the month, and if they get more than one, it will really get in the way.

I think the reasoning behind the system is good, but it seems as if it creates more problems then it solves.

(im putting this on its own thread even though i also posted it in Jer's thread)

Wow, i would love for you to explain how this is "self-serving" and "underhanded". The system is going to make it harder for everyone to play, not just me... especially as the month goes on.

Also... i dont think anyone (except you) gives a shit how i speel my wirds uther thin u, as long as the point gets across, WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?

I'm throwing in my opinion here, too, though I much doubt that anyone cares.

Now, I'm not a top player by any means. I just broke 3k for the second time this month on a lucky 2500 game. At the end of that game Vohaul and I got flagged with the new system. Of course, I do play a lot of games with Vohaul (I'd even say most of them if we're both online at the same time), but I'd be interested to see what the stats on our Kdice-playing are, because it seems strange to think that I could be benefiting from playing with him or vice-versa.

As it stands, the only reason I chose to come back to this game was because of the friends I have made last September. I do my best to play with at least one of my friends every game for comedic relief because, quite honestly, this game is just too frustrating if you don't have an outlet. I expect within the next few days, most of my friends will be flagged with me and then I'm stuck finding tables full of complete strangers who don't talk and often make bat-sh*t crazy moves. That doesn't sound like much fun to me, to be honest.

As Pat and Jeremy said, the idea behind the system does have some merit and it's quite obvious that something needs to be done to fight the obvious PGAs, but I'd much rather get raped by PGAs than not be able to play with any of my friends past the first week or so of the month.

It's Interesting how Pat claims to be a brand new player but somehow knows many of the old players really well.

Overlast, I'm inclined to think English is infact his first language.

Irregardless,

Pat, someone who is listed with quite a few ridiculous correlations, and is generally known by the high table population to have multiple PGAs isn't really in a position to be championing changing a system that is designed specifically to hinder him.

Just my two sense.

Actually, english is my first language, i just don't care enough to spell check... and if he is able to tell me what word i was trying to use, then he clearly understood what i was saying... and that is all that really matters.

Also, BJ, i assume i wont be able to convince you of this, but i really am new, i just make friends (and enemies) quickly. You either love or hate me : P

lol stoolpidgeon, what are these correlations? please tell me. And, as far as PGA, i have never PGAd, and have never even been accused of it before, so i find it hard to beleive that i am "known by the the high table population" to have "multiple PGAs". Also, please enlighten me to who these PGAs might be and who it is that you have heard this from, because frankly it seems as if this "high table population" you speak of is entirely in your head. Not to mention, i don't know if you have another account, but how exactly do you know what the "high table population" thinks if you are not part of it?

lol

"Just my two sense"

the only person that focused on grammar is CoMik... Although i seriously doubt CoMik would ever wear an account with that name.

Irregardless, somebody has a good sense of humor.

Thats all for now. I am banned so I am only stopping in every once in a while to say hi to my friends, which, irregardlessly was the reason i was banned in the first place.
