The PGA detector doesn't seem to be working

We were just trying to play at 10k and we ran into a scenario where we literally couldn't get a game sat because of various subgroups that couldn't play together.
I can't sit with Chris, Vohaul can't sit with Pat or Fiero, and I know there are other examples out there. It's hard enough getting a 10k game together now that it's zero sum again, this just makes it even more difficult. I guarantee you everyone would have rather that people just sat... I think the top community is small enough that these "PGA detections" will fire off for people randomly based on a few good games together. |

at 4:31 PM, Tuesday February 12, 2008 EST It's not a pga detector. If you can't sit with someone it doesn't mean you've pga'd them. It simply means that you win very often with them . I think in this scenario its healthy for the game to play against others to prove this person was not your crutch.

Xavierlore has only played 14 games the whole month and still gets picked up by this. Ryan, what minimum number are you using for your correlation? Even if he played ALL 14 games with that other person, that's an extremely small sample size. Here are his stats for those 14 games: 14% 21% 0% 14% 14% 21% 14% Hardly seems like anything out of the ordinary to me. How could he be doing so much better in lots of games, in such a degree to be a 'ridiculous correlation', when he doesn't appear to be winning, and has zero points? I may simply be missing something. Maybe all the other entries make more sense, or I did something silly here. |

His profile is busted and is missing the monthly totals, so when I looked at the bottom total it was for a single day. I did check and there were other players with low totals played, but not as low as 14. Let my previous post be stricken from the record! |
