Your KDice Dictionary

New to KDice? Let this handy guide explain all those terms you keep hearing but were afraid to ask about.

RND: The random number generator of kdice. Ryan realy likes to hear about how awesome it is, so if you really want to earn some asskissing points, go find the room Ryan is in, and say "I really like RND", "RND is the reason I win games", or, even better, "I am RND". Ryan really looks at that last one as a sort of KDICE solidarity movement. The more you say it the happier he gets. Feel free to spam the chatbox guys. Decalre your loyalty today!

Luck: The primary source of losses in kdice. Every player I've ever met has terrible luck, including me. Whether it's bad starts, bad rolls, or bad restacks, this is the main reason you've lost points today. This is proven out by the fact that every single one of us has a luck stat of below 50%. Somewhere out there is a guy with 38,000% luck that balances us all out, I just haven't found him.

Ryan: The creator of kdice. The more you bitch at him and about him in the forums, the happier he is. Keep the abuse coming guys, he's a masochist and without a constant stream of complaints, he'd probably lose interest and go back to his other project, Skynet. And we know where that leads.

PGA: This acronym actually stands for three different things, I list them in the order of frequency in which they appear in kdice:

1. The cry of the sore loser.

2. An abbreviation that can be plugged into any quote. See integral's post for more details.

3. A pre-game alliance, which is cheating. Not actually seen all that often.

Cabal: A phrase coined specifically to annoy JeremyS, this term once had relevance but really I'm sick of hearing it. We get that people cheated last year, the worst of them are banned, everyone else has repented and mended their ways, time to move on.

Stoude: Trucing early. A very effective strategy. Often leads to postgame cries of PGA by people who weren't monitoring the chat box.

The Jumbltron: The space where Big Jumblies' avatar is displayed. Similar to the Jumbotron used in sporting arenas, without all the distracting replays and blooper reels.

MSAK: An old TV show in which bad movies were played and the cast of the show sat in the shadows and made fun of the film. Wait, sorry, that's MST3K. MSAK stands for Montecarlo Style Ass Kissing, basically a combination of pleading, cajoling, and acting friendly towards other players with the express intent of surviving long enough to gradually win. A powerful technique.

Weakstepped: To offer a not quite fully articulated promise of help in exchange for being left alone, to later turn around and not offer help when the need arises because it's not convienent. Sort of like turning on your allies, but it's ok beacuse you never quite fully vocalized the alliance. Often misused as "Yelled at by leekstep"

Bad Beats: Basically, the reason I don't have 500,000 points every month. Because I'm better than the rest of you.

Drama: Powers the kdice server. It's sort of like The Force from Star Wars... without it, we'd still be alive, but damn, life would be so boring.

Monthly Competition: While at first it may seem to be a contest to see who can get the most points by playing kdice, in reality it's a shadowy endeavour with more backroom deals, revenge oriented decisionmaking, and lobbying than the United States Congress.

Leaderboard: A page that shows a number of interesting stats. I will break it down by category...

Top 25: A collection of addicts. While kdice has not specifically been proven to destroy brain cells, the general consensus is that this group would probably be better off mainlining heroin.

Top Point Gainers Today: A bunch of cheaters. Probably RND is using their accounts.

Top Point Losers Today: See the definition for Luck.

Most Wins This Month: The people trying to get on the leaderboard by picking off fish at the 100 tables.

Most Dom This Month: Biggest assholes who won't let you fight for second place even though you only have three territories with 11 dice between them.

Everything Else: A random assortment of people who have played three or fewer games this month.

PGE: The Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Not sure what this has to do with kdice.

The Forum: The place where people go to bitch.

Strategy: What you have in brilliant abundance and what everyone who attacks you completely lacks.

Dominance: A sexual technique in which one partner assumes a dominant position over another. See bondage for more details. Basically, anyone who attacks you while in first place who just claims to want more dom is a sexual deviant and should be reported to the police.

Member: Someone who actually supports kdice. it only costs 5 bucks guys. Regardless of anything else, Ryan has built a great and continually entertaining game. Per hour, you're getting more entertainment than you can just about anywhere else. Kick in guys!

Well I think Ryan is a fine individual. I here all this bitching.

I have an idea for the Ryan dissers. Go away and make an improved version of kdice.

You all seem to forget that without Ryan you would have NOTHING to bitch about because there would be no kdice.

If you don't like it then don't play.

If you don't like it but do play it might be time to ask yourself - WHY DO I PLAY A GAME THAT MAKES ME BITCH N WHINE SO MUCH ?

I have found Ryan to be very helpful in the past.

How about a little respect for the guy that brought us the game.

I forgot one definition:

Humor - That which JulesDogg is incapable of understanding or appreciating.
