Rolls...WTF?

There have been some seriously ridiculous rolls going on in games.

Did something change? Was some probability changed? Cause this game is starting to suck.

If EVER have two 8v4's lose consecutively again, I'll quit. There's no point in playing. Dead game.

Love,

Jonny

Wowimbad defended 8v2, 9 to 11, (1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1 to 6,5)

Notice all the low numbers in the attackers roll and the big numbers in the defenders roll. I think this phenomenon is happening more. Does any one else notice this?

and what about that :

ruzzla's turn
Borninger defended 8v8, 25 to 35, (3,6,5,2,1,1,6,1 to 6,6,6,4,2,6,3,2)
Borninger defeated 5v8, 22 to 16, (6,6,6,2,2 to 1,1,3,1,1,3,1,5)

wow, so for a 2 do defend an 8, the 2 needs big numbers and the 8 has to roll low numbers? Thanks, that clears it up.

They're dice, they bounce funny, it's called luck, which is part of strategy.

That's why they roll the dice (also why they play the game; unfortunately, as my Patriots discovered)

I like how everybody takes the "luck" value as some hard and fast, instantly calculatable value and not some equation that Ryan is still tinkering with to get to show up correctly.

Last month average luck was around 48%. This month it appears to be around 45% because of two changes Ryan made.

Thank you...thats the kind of response I'm looking for. Not a bunch of children calling people stupid.

I see dumb people...

Jesus H Christ, stop complaining about rolls. They are not broken. Get yourself a probability book.

There has been at least one of these threads every month since I started playing in September. Nothing has changed with the dice rolls, but people always want to believe that some factor other than random chance must be f*cking with them. Get over it.

Sorry, but I have to agree. One whole hell of a lot more bad beats this month than I ever remember seeing before.

How come no one is ever telling the world about all their odds-defying defenses? Surely someone must be benefitting from all the bad beats?
