Leaderboard Recommendations

Couple ideas:
1. Minimum threshold for being on the luckiest or unluckiest of the month list. Nobody cares about people who played 2 games and blew out, and never came back to kdice. 2. A second leaderboard based on average points per game. This would reward players who play at the riskiest levels of the game, but who do not have the time to put in to play the 6-700 games in a month it takes for first. |

at 4:00 PM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST just some more suggestions for the leaderboard, because i really enjoy perusing it every day, and would be more interested to see the following changes (this is just my personal opinion).
1) change top 5 (un)luckiest to: a) (un)luckiest with >10 starts b) (un)luckiest with >100 starts c) etc... 2) change greatest number of 1sts to highest percentage of 1sts. 3) include a greatest number of games played... a) today b) this week c) this month d) this year e) since the site kept stats if possible, include all games from alts (IP consistency?) |

at 6:30 PM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST I think as many stats as possible that can be shown on the leader board without causing excess load for running the needed querys when the board refreshs would be great.
No matter what happens there should be a minimum number of games needed to register on some of the stats to make them meaningful to the community as a whole. I would start the number at zero then have it climb by like 3-5 games a day for the entire month. So people can watch trends as they develop. |
