Any animated avatar is distracting me. I take a look and then click on it and it is gone - that simple. And all of the sudden I don't have to get pissed by any images offending my feelings.

exactly, flizza. I'm sure you understand that you not liking something doesn't make that thing bad or wrong. you are entitled to your opinion as long as you don't force that opinion on others. if my avatar bothers you so much, just mute it.
