I'm going to add in a career (all time) stat which is a total of your points at the end of the month. It will be updated at the end of the month. I'll also create an career top players list similar to the monthly top players.
This is similar to the all time stats I've displayed at the end of the month but differs in that it will always be available and that it is a total score stat instead of based on rank. |

these all time stats sound cool BUT what about thos that are not of the ELO era? does that mean for players like me who have recently joined mean that we have a disadvantage over those that have played for x months? just to add a little more... i know this is far fetched (cos im not good or popular enough) but lets say i won the next 4 months, surely that would boost me in the all time but if ryan starts this thing from before march, that woulod probly not even put me top 25 cos of the players that have come and gone but having finished 1st in 4 months ina row, surely that would put me top 5 at least?? just my $0.02 |

at 4:26 AM, Monday December 24, 2007 EST you guys worry way too much about rating and stuff - esp. thats how Awesomeness comes across to me. first of all have fun (sure you do have) but dont think that being in the top 25 is the sole goal of this game.
and yes, Awe, those who are here longer + have more meaningful stats do have an advantage over you and me and many others... but over time you will level this out (you are pretty good) and people will get to know you... you are already pretty active in this forum. one player representing a well balanced mixture - in my opinion - between wanting to be / being a top player and having a relaxed attitude about this game is MadHat_Sam |

at 5:10 AM, Monday December 24, 2007 EST nothing wrong with winning, awe... like that too. but - as i wrote - if that's the sole reason to play this game, if someone cant take enjoy a well deserved lower place eg after a longer battle, this player would miss the fun in this game, imho.

at 6:40 AM, Monday December 24, 2007 EST @ Awsomeness: I think the 3 missing months (Dec 2006, Jan 2007, Feb 2007) wont change to much, but they are a part of history and they have to be respected in the all time ranking. Especially because most of the players that were winning this time don't play anymore. You still can get 1st ;)
