This post is the Grunvagr Progress Report. Screw GPS, GPR is where it's at. I am striving to the win the month. Come to this post to see my progress. I'm a man out there alone and on a mission. To cut, claw and scratch my way to the number one spot again.
I am winning December. -Grun (note, jokes about poor performance will likely consume 99% of the following replies, but you'll see...) I am winning December. |

at 3:04 AM, Wednesday December 12, 2007 EST Holy shit you play a lot of games.
It is the 12 December with 508 games. That would come out to about 43.3 games a day. Now assuming each game take about 10 minutes. (which they usually don't, most are longer, some are shorter.)You are playing 430 minutes a day. Which comes out to 7.2 hours each day. This is about 1/3 of your total life being wasted and 1/2 of your consciousness being spent sucked in this community. This isn't taking into account the waiting time for each room which would amount to about half an hour more each day or less? I'm guessing. What I'm trying to say is....You better start having some results Grun. |

at 10:26 AM, Thursday December 13, 2007 EST I'm a has-been.
I live in a delusional world where I think players should play this game to get 1st place instead of settling for 2nd or 3rd. Take a look at my win %'s for any month and I have extremely low 2nds. Why? because on principle, I don't concede to 2nd unless I am one of the last two left and I am beaten. The way people play now though, there is a mentality to go for first in the initial 5 rounds, but then if you cannot establish a good base, to start playing for 2nd or 3rd and rubbing people's backs and playing nice. This is a war game and on principle I play to win the game. It's just not the way things are done anymore. It's sad, because 1k games should really not be a community discussion starting in round 4 about who's going to place exactly in which spot, handing out points like it's a cake and folks know the slice they are entitled to. I remember when people would attack the leader and others would think, YEAH, let's get him! Days long past, I am coming to find. |
