OK, I was snooping around the test page, when i noticed a "Membership" link. It brought me to a page that had two large icons, one with a star, explaining the donation stars, and another with a large "m" on a blue ribbon pin-like object.

The M was for kdice membership, and it says this:

"Becoming a member makes you part of the club. It shows your support for KDice and has the added bonus of giving you a better start each month.

Instead of a starting slow, playing with many newer players, you start every month with 500â—†.

The membership fee is low because I want everyone to be able to afford it. It is only US $2.50 a month! ($30 for the year). Oh, and it applies to both your KDice and GPokr accounts."


First of all, I'm posting this as an informative post, but I think it would be great if we could discuss this, because I have some thoughts about it, and you might too.





I am impartial. I'm not for it because I cannot pay anything since I have no means of paying for such membership, and I think that even though 500 is not a huge start in points, in my opinion, it's more than enough. I would gladly pay just 30$, but I'm not allowed to get a credit card yet, so I'm out. Also, I've stuck around for a while, and even though just being here doesn't mean shit to a tree, the label "member" might get to a couple of people's heads.

On the positive side, this is a great incentive to get money to the site to improve it, and that means bigger and better things.
