This game is for 99% pure luck, if you have a bad start, you can't change it and lose 30 to 50 points, if you have a good start, but bad dice, you lose 30 to 50 points, if you have a good start, and good dice, you can lose by bad luck in restack. This goes on in several rounds.....somehow it is impossible to win more than to lose, when realy lucky, you win 3 on a row, but 10 on a row? (to get to 600+) that's a luck this players can better use on real money, or there's some trick to it? Tell me, sport's getting over for me here.......................

http://www.aplayr.com/kdice/kdice/ You're probably not getting enough points out of your wins and/or cutting your losses well enough to rise to the top |

at 1:26 AM, Sunday November 4, 2007 EST Because everyone is subjected to the same probabilities (be it dice placement or rolls), player skill becomes the dominant factor for scoring, and outways whatever points you get from just a 'lucky start.'

at 1:39 AM, Sunday November 4, 2007 EST I know this isn't poker, but it plays a lot like it. If you ever watch the 500 billion poker channels out there, you'll see who the top players are. Poker is A LOT about luck. How is it that these top players know how to win millions?
Mostly it is about understanding probabilities. You know you can't win 100% of the time, so you maximize your advantages and minimize your 'bad luck'. Over time, good players may average 30 points per game (more at the higher rated tables). Sure they'll lose, but over time they will eventually gain points and rise in rank. |

at 8:50 AM, Sunday November 4, 2007 EST Yes its 99% pure luck. But I'll bet you 5 bucks that after week 1 most of the players in the top 25 are the same as last month. MOST: because 1% of them will not be as lucky.
I infiltrated the top myself (purely based on luck) and I have a stunning conclusion: they are all PGA !!!! (except me) Most of the time 7 of them sit in a room and press the 'next turn' button without attacking each other. I don't know why, but apperently each player gains 100 points and autoflags after 150 rounds of doing nothing. Plz fix this Rihanna |

at 1:22 PM, Sunday November 4, 2007 EST The main difference really is risk management, but to give you an actual example of how trends work is easier:
At the 10 tables, the max loss should be -36 for 7th (-72 is possible for a 1st rd death only - can happen). In "good" or "bad" positions, the goal is to minimize your losses and try to do well on your gains. Consider at the 10 tables these 4 games - a strong 2nd (50), a 3rd (22), 5th (-12) and strong 6th (-18). In 4 games, a net gain of 42 points. Not that great, but keep that trend for 20 games = 210 points without a 1st. The stakes are higher at 200, and hopefully you have some 1sts/avoid 7ths, but managing risks/skill are the ways to move up, gl to you ;) |
