Y'know, I think if the game changes every month, most people are just going to get tired of trying to figure out what the Hell is going on, and find another game. I know it says "beta" up there somewhere, but so what? All the changes are getting tiresome. Sure, it's a free site, but we play for free too.

At least do us the favor of putting up a page that details what's going on, and maybe explains the scoring. It's beyond lame when you have to come in here to try to find the one post that might give you a hint about how to play THIS MONTH. At some point, the aggravation of starting over at zero with new rules outweighs the fun.

Thanks a lot,

That's awefully blunt Big Jumblies, but that is exactly what I was thinking!

Sinth's ego seemed to get in the way of his problem solving.

I know what Ryan was trying to do, and in theory it was a good and noble cause. But things dont seem to be getting better. I think its time to cut and run. Pull the troops out of Iraq.

Sure it will be a violent and destructive civil war, as each faction tries to gain a piece of the action. But that's what they want, and no mater how many points changes you make, the people won't respect your laws.

I think its strange that Sinth seemed to show up just before the changes, although his record shows him as being a player for a while, he didnt seem to enter the picture until he put a lot of effort into placing a decent position in the game, probably to gain respect.

Then pushes all these changes, claims victory in getting them, and now is no where to be found. I remember him being a very socially manipulative player in the game.

I'm wondering if he's secretly working for some competitor of kdice???

Don't worry, Sinth is still around. I've been chatting with him about each adjustment.

He's been busy with family stuff over the last month.

Basically table limits are lower. Thats the change. The people here that are saying its worse this month than last need to stop searching for things to blame for their bad luck.

Translation of last post: shut up and play whatever is offered.

At least remove reference to Elo from the "About kdice" section of the News page.

No, that's not how you should read my comment.

I'm saying that nothing changed to affect game play. What you got for points last month is the same as this month.

Only the points-per-game/table-minimum ratio has changed which means you can play for more points earlier.

If you find that things are harder they're not. Everything in that respect is the same. If you still feel things are harder then you should attribute this feeling to bad luck.. not a change in table limits. Get it?
