Looks like it and the scoring system really sucks now for beginning bad luck.

i noticed that higher score players, like those in the 200+ 300+, like to play at the no min table, for fear that they lose hugh points playing at the high table....it sucks.

i dont see any benefit to the point change. what do you want to achieve ryan?

It's the same thing. Just everything is multiplied by 5, I think.

I don't follow -- what's the reason for this new scoring? Anyone complained that the previous was too little screwed up, so it's multiplied by 5 or so?

I haven't quite figured it all out, but I think all players pay 36 points into the place pot at the start of the game, and survivors each pay an additional 3 points for a stage. The seventh place player seems to invariably lose 36 points (he gets none of what he paid in). The sixth place finisher loses 28 points (the 36 points he paid in at the start, another 3 points paid when seventh place went out, and he gets back 1/21 of the original pot, or 12 points, and he gets back 1/21 of the 18 points paid in for the stage, for a loss of 28 points and a fraction). I think. I have not figured out how much is paid into the pot for dom. I have tried adding all the points in play at any part of the game but the scores dance around faster than my powers of computation.

Ryan, new scoring sucks. No point playing if your a mediocre player. Your score is going to always be zero. I wonder what percent of players had 0 last month?

I don't get the new scoring and I definitely don't like it. This is even worse than last month!

its simply more high risk.. likely to keep out farmers like Zosod. lets see where he ends up this month.

Ryan, what happened to Sinth? Did he bail on you after half-assing the new system and leaving it for you to fix his screw ups?
