please ban me

ryan,

ban me. after thinking this game was rigged, i logged the last 1000 battles i was involved in (actually, i logged only attacks as i sometimes couldn't keep up with all my defense rolls). odds that my BS rolls are due to luck - .00239, or .239%. keep in mind that this is after i decided to keep a log because i was consistently losing 2 and 3 die advantages.

ex ante i would have given probably around a 1% chance to the RNG being faulty/game being rigged. even with that, odds are greater than not that something is wrong. therefore, ban me.

I've been saying it for weeks; FIX THE ROLLS

I've been watching the discussions about the rolls being incorrect. Although I don't know shit about writing programs/formulas, I figured that the rolls HAD to be fair. The program couldn't lie and had to be checked and double-checked.

I have held this view every time I have lost an advantaged attack no matter how ridiculous the outcome was or how often this happened.

However, recently I have started playing dicewars again. I don't know what formula it uses, but in comparison to kdice, it seems like the rolls are infinitely more reliable. Most of the time, if you have the advantage you are going to win. I almost can't be beat at dice wars because a MAJORITY of the time, the bigger stacks win. I don't find that to be the case in kdice.

No matter how many times someone tells me the programming is correct, the rolls do not reflect this. I think there are a lot of people who would agree with me. Most probably don't say anything; it took me almost 6 months of reading the forum before I spoke up about it.

I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, especially because I would play kdice regardless; I love the game no matter what flaws are in it or changes are made. I've just adapted my strategies as best as I could (i.e. don't ever roll 5v4 on the first round).

These statements are just my own observations. Please feel free to criticize; I know it's coming.

I don't win the lottery, and I shouldn't see 2 5v2s lose in the same game; I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning.

Sacrifice a bug to Jupiter before you roll. I always keep a jar of ladybugs. Crush one before you 5v4, it never fails.

Rolls don't look weighted. Purely random rolls will have these outcomes.

A 4v1 and a 4v2 loss in the span of two turns?
