You know when I had the absolute most fun playing kDice? It was on the test server while the new rules were being hashed out.

Games were just *FUN* without all of the bitching and moaning. There were plenty of 2K players playing there... and several of those of us that hadn't made it there yet. But everyone got along great. I made several friends there that I normally wouldn't have been able to play with in the ELO days... and with the new scoring system 'live', when I do meet people they are only after blood and then they are gone.

I think BOTH scoring systems are flawed once you add competition and ego into it.

Personally... I am still undecided about whether I'll like the new scoring system better or not now that it is 'live'. But I am going to give it a chance and hope that Ryan keeps tweaking it until I like it. :)

I'll keep playing and probably remain in the mediocre scoring range (mainly because I just don't have the time to play 30 games a day)... but I'll probably always think of the test server as the most fun I've had at kDice.

Actually... if you took some time to read the post, you would see it isn't just 'old 2kers' posting...
