As we all know, the fancy rooms have come up with a plethora of fancy ways of asking for a truce that doesn"t actually include the word "truce" itself.
You know, "move that stack", "we are cool", "friends?" and so on. Wondering if we could start a list of the best non-truce phrases that lead to a no-attack policy. We fancy people, so creative... |

at 9:57 PM, Thursday August 16, 2007 EDT I've always found the best way to arrange a truce is to beat someone within an inch of their life, have them plead for mercy and then allow them to flag, build an 8+8 stack, come back and take 2nd spot from you when you're on the ass end of a monumental beating yourself.
Not only does this reenforce your faith in human society, it does wonders for your skin. Don't truce. Cause havoc and die safe in the knowledge you at least prevented the game from fading into tedium. Bru P.S. The avatar one always works |
