My Fellow KDicers,
I have brought you insider news about the Cabal, secret proxy gangs, and flag fests. Some people have gone as far to say that I have been rather "Proxy-paranoid" for the last few weeks; accusing people of utilizing illegal proxies in order to play in the same game multiple times. I have some new news for you. I am not proud of this, and come to you in humble confession. Over the course of July I have been caught up with the wrong crowd. After the sheer terror that the Cabal wrought on the community, the flag fests last month, we sat down for a meeting, in which it was decided that the only way to compete with the flag fests that had occured in the previous month, was to take pro-active action in destroying those that would flag. Myself, WayneRooney, Clovinator, and several other John Doe's began using proxies to compete with those that were terrorizing the previous month. Unfortuantely for us, they never started playing, there were no WMDs. We garnered the Top 5 ELO spots -- took the highest ranking spots for the month -- all in a pre-emptive strike against an enemy that apparently does not exist. Midway through the month, when I realized that we had become as bad as our shadow enemy; I publicly quit KDice. There was a bit of fuss about this at the time; and I wasn't sure if I would be able to ever tell you my true motives. However upon close interrogation these last few days, it has become clear that this news would break no matter what. And so, I stand before you humble, confessing our sins... and hope that the KDice community can forgive us. On this eve of Wayne's false victory against an invisible enemy, I feel it only fitting to bring forward our secret plot to steal the top four spots of KDice ranking. at 7:23 PM, Tuesday July 31, 2007 EDT Yea, well thats apparently how it works, I don't think its a big deal, yea I have been trying to move up but with a decent winning streak you can make a decent score in the top 100. You just learn to avoid the games where the players at the table will crush you first... not a big deal leek.

Okay... Anyway, maybe you want this to be the Great Scandal and feel like you did something big, but it isn't. Is just 1 of the many tricks people play, sad for you, but it most likely won't be known as "the Great KDice Proxying Scandal of July." The only thing I would say is that naming some, if without their consent, is pretty low. Now stop with the drama and just play, no 1 is asking you to go. People are asking for more games and less nonesense. You got enough friends to still have fun playing the game, not the KDice cop who accepts bribes :). Go on, just play :). |

I never pre-emptively proxied anyone.... only in retaliation when someone screwed me with a proxie or multiple pga's. Its sad, so much cheating... I think the only solution would be if Ryan made the game a client instead of a web interface, unfortunately this would make his adv. bucks harder to get and wouldn't even be %100 secure at that. PLAY FOR FUN people, ITS A FREAKING GAME!!! |

1) Riser held one of the top ELO spots most of the month, but he's supposed to be one of the "old cabal" guys, so why would he be in some "anti-old-cabal new cabal"? 2) Clov's testimony is highly inconsistent with leek's. 3) stopcheating and leekstep are apparently arguing with each other on this thread, despite the fact that they're supposed to be the same person. 4) Since leek personally accused me of being a "100% certain proxy cheater", and I know that I'm not one, I frankly don't believe a word he says anymore. 5) Wayne is a great player, and I will not believe he's a proxy cheater unless he says so himself.
