Ryan, how many donations would we have to make to make this dream come true? Thanks! |

at 1:45 AM, Thursday June 21, 2007 EDT you do realize how great you'll feel once you finally get above 1800, right?
the 1500 to 1800 step rewards consistently excellent players and keeps the masses out of the upper echelons. kinda like real life. |

at 1:49 PM, Thursday June 21, 2007 EDT It's just hard finding games with 1700's. I lose -40 when I finish 5th because I'm 100 points ahead of everyone at the table usually. It's just hard to find a game.
P.s. Realistically, social hierarchy is not even close to as simple as you make it out to be. |

at 4:20 PM, Thursday June 21, 2007 EDT You lose 40 points for playing with players 100 points behind you? How about you work more on not finishing DFL (DEAD FRIGGEN' LAST) and work more on finishing in the top 4 as opposed to sitting here and complaining

at 12:31 AM, Friday June 22, 2007 EDT 1600 and 1700 tables were always a great thing because it meant that at 1690 or 1790 you couldn't have a group of guys start up new characters at 1500 and gang up on you. i'll never understand why this big gap between 1500 and 1700, or between 1500 and 1800, is considered by anybody to be a "good thing". Hopefully people like 5up will get the short end of the stick when one day there are no 1600, 1700, 1800, or 1900 tables and everyone between 1500 and 2000 has to play together.

at 9:05 AM, Friday June 22, 2007 EDT I've been -38 for 5th against players that weren't much lower than me, but I usually get 1st or 2nd, so it balances out.
