luck and the chatbox only take you so far, there really is an upper echelon of talent and Wicked! is right up there.

i'd say Lothros is a phenomenal player too - though his stats might not be in accordance with my comment. The only reason for this is that he is lazy to wait for games vs equally rated opposition and tends to (wanting to just play) compete in games vs others who are 100 to 250 points lower than him.

if that weren't the case, he'd be in contention for one of the best around, period.

In the past, I often played at lower tables (lower than my score allowed). First i did so because when the 2000 tabkles first started, there was not enough opposition with equal scores. I started to like the chaotic playing- style on lower tables. Kdice is about having fun. This is why i still play against players with lower scores.
Although it really gets my score down.

Score is important, BUT IT'S NOT EVERYTHING.

many of you won't remember this, but pre-ELO era at kdice, the two best were MadWilly and Lindsay. Madwilly was such a reckless player but very smart. Lindsay was an all-around good player and I enjoyed both their companies.

But they learned their lessons and saw how much of a time-killer kdice was and have taken a break since. I wish I could have learned the same lesson.

two people come to mind, when i think of best players, Wicked! and Madwilly. Hands down two of the best players ever.
