For you important: Kdice is player A LOT. sometimes "unbelievable things" happen. I even calculated there how often they happen. If everyone who experienced something "unbelievable" would whine here on the forum. it would be full of it.

2. I remember players on the old system saying: "The dice are broken, really broken!" As a newbie I didn't know if it was true. Figured out fast, it was wrong. There are more rolls in the new system, so 'odd' rolls appear more often. So STFU!

I think the new system is both better and worse. It seems under the new system if youget a bad start, you are doomed right away, people eat up weak countries. Maybe that'show it should be, but that point relies much more on luck, where your dice are, etc. Under the old system you could recover from a bad start because a player would not necessarily attack you just to get a country, he needed to be more cognizant of what was going on around him. However, after the 1-3 weak players from the start are basically gone, I think it is much more about strategy.

I wonder if the new scoring system would work better with fewer players, maybe something like 5 players. That way you are more likely to have dice and opportunites to connect. I dunno, if I survive the start I love it, otherwise I hate it.

fuzzycat please read posts before you answer. I know SOMETIMES crazy things happen, but when they happen to me in almost EVERY game i play, and not the 5-4, im talking about 7-4, its no longer something unbelievable its just becoming expected. I think its pretty dumb when i get surprised that i win 6 on 4's, but i guess that odds tell you that should happen almost every time right??

Why don't you copy all of your rolls (1000 should be enough) into a txt-file, load it with excel and run some things upon to look if it is really that messed?
